“Early Man Site” at Calico Trip October 16- 2006

The first rock collecting trip of the season will be Monday, October 16, to the “Early Man Site” at Calico Ghost Town near Barstow. You can find agate nodeules, chalcedony and jasperagate at this location. We will leave at 7:00 AM from Denny’s Restaurant off of Interstate 10 and Indian Avenue, North Palm Springs. Arrive EARLY around 6-6:15 AM latest if you want breakfast at Denny’s, as the group will not wait.
